I think vegas is a pit- no offense to anyone living there- but it is. It's only a matter of time before you get jacked.

NY because I like the weather in the northeast :)

If I could afford CA I would be there its the best place for adult also want to shoot nonadult video good place to be.

Come to NJ, highest taxes in the country, most expensive car insurance, property prices gone through the roof, one of the highest costs of living and the Greediest Govenor of them all MC Greedy. God i hate this state, dont ever come live here but we do have the Sopranos :BangBang:

Love to "visit" Las Vegas & New york
California too crowded & too expensive Florida on the water for me..... Just did that! I can handle going from my air conditioned car to my air conditioned house - better than I can the cold......and the winters are 'so nice. Many areas are still a great investment. |
Used to live in Vegas and now I'm in Calif - It's a toss up both, places rock.

California

lived in Vegas, moved to LA couple of years ago, now looking to buy property in FLA.

Moved to Vegas last yr from CA, best decision ever!!
Major tax advantages, along with living in the largest adult amusement park in the world. Homes are skyrocketing, especially in the nice neighborhoods... The summer heat sucks, but the other 8 months out of the yr are beautiful. Water shortage will be a major issue in the next few years, so hopefully they have some answers to solve/improve that soon. p.s. no earthquakes, hurricanes/tornados, blizzards, or snow shoveling! |
None of the above.
|
I have visited all those placed and for me personally California would be the best since you have a 5 drive to Vegas. Can't beat that.
|
I've lived in Cali, NY, and FL, and spent quite a bit of time in NV.
Personally, I ended up choosing FL. (South FL that is) The weather, the cost of living (amazing places to live for relatively low cost), the ocean, the boating, the no state income tax, the close proximity of the Carribean, the ease of travel to anywhere in the western hemisphere, the beautiful girls, the nightlife, etc.... and, like I said, within the US, I've already lived in AZ, San Diego, LA, NY, and IA, and spent a lot of time in Vegas with friends that live there....:2 cents: |
California... already live here, why move
|
FLA
|
I've lived in California all my life and am now moving to Las Vegas. The heat sucks, but Vegas has too many advantages over California for me not to move. ($$$, lower taxes, cheap, more to do, ...)
|
I have always wanted to move to cali.
|
#1 Southern California
#2 Southern Florida |
Although any of those choices would be OK for vacationing I really wouldn't want to live in any of those places. If someone were to force me to choose I guess Cali. Ideally if I had bucks to buy and retire to any place in the country it would be somewhere past the 800 block on Bourbon Street (the less party end where there are residences):glugglug

I'd like to be rich enough where I could have a place in each of those. :winkwink:
|
Each one has a flaw for living there. But if I were to choose I would go with Las Vegas.

Nothing beats Northern California or the beach in Southern California. Las Vegas is hot and ugly. Take a real good luck at LV in the day time. Florida is humid and full of retired people and young Spanish kids. New York is too crowded, and the high rise buildings will eventually fall over and kill you if the terrorists don't get you first.
You left off many great cities, but some are too humid, too dangerous, and too wet like Seattle, New Orleans, and Dallas. California isn't all that expensive if you own your home. Or you can also buy a cheap cabin in an isolated area of the country and cut yourself off from the world because you are too ugly and too poor to do anything else.:glugglug |
