    I love the Bay Area

Took a drive with the Family out to Half Moon Bay, hung out at the beech, ate some ice cream, then up to SF for dinner.

Born and raised in the Bay Area and I absolutely love it. I Moved away for a year and will never make that mistake again.

Any other Bay Area folks around?

Used to live in Danville. Loved it, but between the traffic and the price of houses I had to move.

the Bay Area is nice, but I love SLO county a bit more myself...a tad warmer climate and way less crowded...

but for going back home and appreciating it, a lot of people don't realize what they have until they leave...

I have to leave SLO for about a year in about a year from now...I know I'll miss the hell out of it...

I was in San Francisco for a week last summer and it was pretty cool. Cold as fuck down at Fisherman's Wharf, but nice everywhere else. Drove to Napa Valley, toured Budweiser and Jelly Belly in Fairfield, went to Six Flags, Alcatraz, all that fun stuff. Awesome city.

Born in SJ, raised in Los Gatos, higher education in San Francisco... Left for LA in 1988 and I have barely looked back since.

But yeah, I miss the old town... Our tiny family home in Los Gatos is now worth over a million (too bad the family don't own it any more.)
