just because iraq wasnt directly involved in 9/11 doesnt mean there are no ties between them and alqaida. with that said, bush is crazy if he still thinks he can still tell the public it was a group effort

There is "no credible evidence" that Saddam Hussein had any connection to the September 11 attacks by the al Qaeda terrorist network, a federal commission said yesterday.
The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, during a Capitol Hill hearing, said while a senior Iraqi intelligence officer met with al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden in 1994 and there were later meetings between Iraqi and al Qaeda officials in Afghanistan, "they do not appear to have resulted in a collaborative relationship."

In its report, the commission says that although bin Laden opposed Saddam's "secular regime," he "explored possible cooperation with Iraq" after he moved to Sudan in 1991. Saddam sent an intelligence officer to meet with bin Laden in 1994. But the report says Iraq never responded to his requests. Further, it says that "two senior bin Laden associates have adamantly denied that any ties existed between al-Qaeda and Iraq."

i guess ill go read up more on this issue. its almost impossible to determine whats true and not these days because its all information passed on between many sources then to the media who twist it which ever way they want to push it ie fox news. you may be right on this issue though.

All the shit put out by Bush and his administration is making people who think it was the right thing to do to invade Iraq turn against the war. People around the world knowing you guys beleive it when the rest of the world can see the lies is why Americans are thought of in such low esteam around the world.

You guys fall for it time and time again, the shit you are told, Sadam and osama links, its laughable, it was an excuse, the weapons inspectors, thats laughable another excuse.

Im not against the war, infact I was for it and still am, becuase of one reason that the polititions in the states wont say, because they think it will make them unpopluar, but if they told the truth people would understand.

The simple truth is we (US, UK, France, Russia) know he had the weapons, becuase it was the US, UK, France and Russia who sold them to him! whether or not he destroyed them is a different matter, if he did why didnt he show the inspectors? fuck knows he was a nutter. But he had them thats a fact and it wasnt worth the risk doing nothing about it.
