What about a lambo?
BTW as far as reliability, I would go for the Porsche. Andre |
The turbo cab is probably the perfect car.But if you've never owned an F-car..you should probably give one a go.The F-car's of this generation aren't plagued with the problems of the older ones.Just be aware that the f-car services are costly. In some cities the 30k service will set you back nearly 8g.

I forgot to mention that the bumper stickered exotic I saw read "OWN3D" lol. and i know the owner did not put it there because it was real lopsided and on the driver's door. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some crazy website out there that puts OWN3D on ppl's cars and takes pix. $250,000 exotic owned by a 25 cent sticker. lol.

Maybe a bit spartan though. Perhaps http://www.fast-autos.net/features/aero8/ would be the best of both worlds. "...driving down Wilshire Boulevard in the middle of Beverly Hills. I begin to realize that this car attracts a lot of attention". And if someone really wants to spend $300K there is always the racing version. |

425 bhp in a car that weighs around 1000lb... :Graucho |
damn, I wish I could ever consider buying a ferrari
cheers quiet :glugglug |
The Ferrari's are great cars...BUT
I had a nail in the tire of my 98 355 Spyder and after it was all said and done...3K... They had to replace BOTH front tires..to the tune of 900 each...fix a belt...and a few other little tweaks.... So if you are ready to not only roll out the big bucks to buy it...be ready to MAINTAIN it! if you want to be noticed..the porsche is no match for the Ferrari....period. but there are a LOT of cars i would rather spend the bucks on..... |
If you buy a used ferrari you will be ridiculed, there is this whole secret society, and one of the things is not ever buying a used ferrari, get yourself on the waiting list, dont buy used, even though they are way nicer then the porsche.

http://www.cavallino.com/classic/classicnews.html We have been going to the last few years..... Mine is triple black and has a WHOPPING 7500 mile on it now! (i drive it pretty regularly....) But i AM thinking about one of those new fords! |
Which one has cheaper insurance or gets better gas mileage?

If you really need to ask that question, then you don't deserve the Ferrari ......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Get the Porsche. If you really want a ferrari get a 12 cyl. model. Nothing like that ripping canvas sound bouncing off the canyon walls.
:2 cents: |
I drive a 02 Porsche 911 C4 cabriolet as my daily driver, and have an older Ferrari 512 TR that I drive for fun..
If I had to chose between the two, I'd keep the Porsche, and dump the Ferrari... Maintenance is a bitch, tune-ups every 3k miles, and major after 7500.. It EATS tires, which aren't cheap, but it is a fun car to drive... Stick with the Porsche |
i think its just 2 sexy cars ;)

Ferrari is for the pure sports car enthusiast! :thumbsup
|
you only live once, and if you have millions invested + over 1 mill 'in the bank' why not rent a ferrari from one of those luxury rental places for a week and try it out. Would cost ya 5k or so I imagine, but at least you'd know if you liked the car.
Good idea? |
Hi quiet,
I'll sell you mine for the Right Price :thumbsup http://exoticcars.150m.com/360_01.jpg http://exoticcars.150m.com/360_02.jpg |

In reference to a few posts above. There is nothing wrong at all with buying a pre-owned exotic sports car. Its actually a smarter way to go then paying retail on a brand new one and sometimes a premium on top of that.
Some of you guys are so into what people think. Fuck that bs. A used $200,000 car is still 7 times the price of a regular new car. Learn to be secure with your wealth and not have to flaunt it to prove who you are so much. Nobody cares trust me. The bottom line is being a smart and shrewd buyer on everything you acquire when you are wealthy. Otherwise people will take advantage of you and you'll be overpaying like a shmuck. |

Wrong color. Black, red, or almost any color other than that one. Ferrari over Porsche any day. |
The Ferrari 360 spider will make your day, go for it.:thumbsup
|
360 End of story, trust me on this one.
If you need to come over and test drive one, let me know. |
Both of them are actually nice so it wouldnt really matter which one you get.
|
Don't get a 911 Cabriolet...
If you can afford a Ferrari get the damn 911 GT2... http://content3.us.porsche.com/prod/...usaenglish/gt2 http://cc.porsche.com/pva/mimes/pva/...ata/996840.jpg |

Ferrari turns more heads and gets more attention. Porsche is faster better performing and is more of a daily driver.
Depends what you are looking for. |
I'd get the Lamborghini Gallardo over either one.
