yeah i've bought a copy and it looks really good. the site isn't live yet but it does pretty much all i was looking for, and was the best option i could find.

I'm currently setting it up at www.fetishphiles.com. I like it a lot, and the support has been great so far. The programmer installed the program for me, and I haven't had a bit of trouble yet. I'd recommend it.

FYI: You need to be comfortable with CSS

the existing templates are heavily CSS, primarily for text/link formatting. If you wanted to you could do new templates from scratch and use the supplied code to call the PHP scripting. More a matter of personal experience and preference on that, but you could do it either way. I keep the original templates on file locally so I can refer to the defaults whenever I need to.

So, CSS is not 'required'. If you're going to modify the existing templates you'll need to be familiar with it, but you could also start from scratch.

I'm in the process of setting it up myself. Best out of the box script I could find that is up to date. The support has been really good.

You can customize your Title and Meta Tags. You can include custom Text area for each category. What am I missing?

Mostly all link lists using our software are unique in design and site structure due to templates flexibility. There are about 35 LL running on XPL engine today.

XTC Max is right. You can use or not use CSS in templates. You can use or not use everything in templates. hahahahahahahahahahas, counters, phpadsnew rotator codes - doesnt matter. You can use ANY HTML/hahahahahahahahahaha/VBScript code in templates.

PS: X-Power Links team was out of work in July. This could cause delay in answers and possible missunderstanding. If you did not get any answer, please re-send your question. Everyone must have a rest ;) All other time we are online.

Can X-power Links build static pages?

What factors can the bot check?

What are the options for determining link order?

Why limit Personal Favorites to just 40 links?

What's your upgrade policy, eg are new versions
free or discounted for existing users?
