On Cops a week or so ago they had a 3K bike in a car trunk for a sting operation so they could nab the perps for a felony.

Very nice bike...but 3k? Damn, I could never see spending that much on a bike....of course, I only had mine out once this year which could explain it.

People spend outrageous amount of money in wine and clothes too. They wear out much faster than a bike. Can you justify buying a ferrari when Toyota gets you from a to b as well?
