I basically want to see if my system will handle the game before buying it. Or does anyone know the recommended system specs?

Ok, i'm using a 2.8p4 with a gig of ram.. Most importantly i'm using a gforce6900ultra that allows me to play in max detail at 1024x768, still very low rez.
If you go out and buy a new video card it will play sweet whatever cpu you have. it plays on gforce 3's so don't tell me your system can't handle it.
First 5 minutes of doom I liked it, after two hours I loved it.Comment

What kind of machine do you have? I have a GeForce Ti4200, 1gb RAM, and a 2.4Ghz processor. Doom3 runs fine at 800x600 medium quality. You may want to upgrade you motherboard firmware, one of my friends did and his frames per second almost doubled.Originally posted by Meta Ridley
