These are ones I made for gfy's background color, they're transparent gifs

to match them to your own background take it into photoshop and change the color of the matte

save for web/change matte color to other, then put in the hex code, save

besides freeadultcontent.. it'd be pretty stupid to say you are when you are not.. it would be easy to prove and would ruin someone's reputation if they misrepresented themselves

Thanks Tia for the beautiful logo.

May I suggest a way it could be use.

The logo could be put on the main URL of the content provider and will be #anchor linked to the details of the custodian of records.

Let me point something out here..

People that do business with a content provider or any other provider they don't know or haven't done any checking on are doing so at their own risk. Know who you're doing business with! It's not that hard to understand the benefits of being cautious.

All I've offered here is a graphic for providers to use.. it doesn't come with any indorsment or assurance, it's just something I made for Midnight Digital and wanted to share with those who'd like to use it.

Was I wrong to offer this graphic for other's use?

We have always been 2257 compliant ask AaronM.

Mind you with this new law I was wondering if those with overseas content and IDs are in a better position than those with US content.

How can the authorities start checking to see if the IDs are legal? They will have to start asking goverments for the info and they will tell them to go jump. Unless there is serious suspicions the girl is under age.

US content they can check up on.

Take no notice of them Tia, most think he's a straight guy because he's been in business for many years and psts on GFY.

There was the content broker who had pictures of a 14 year old looking girl. The IDs he showed were so obviosly fake it was a joke. He said he was going back the the Ukranian producer for new ones. The signature on the passport and Model Release did not match, he did not see that as being a problem.

The broker who had pictures of guys that had morphed heads on, he had never seen the IDs for the content.

The brokers who list people overseas and insist that is good enough. Try and get hold of someone when you have a couple of policeman in your office with a search warrant.

But the guy is straight, he posts on GFY.

Well we have always been compliant too Charly, it's just with these proposals, people are nervous and scared about what's going to happen, so we've become compliant to the proposed changes even though they may never go into affect as they stand.

The way we see it is.. these proposed changes are the worst scenerio, and if we are compliant to these, then we feel we can easily comply with any actual changes that occur.

You ask How can authorities start checking to see if the IDs are legal. This is one of the many flaws I see in these proposals, and I predict that there will be several proposals before any are actually made into law.

but I'm not trying to organize anything here.. just doing a simple graphic and giving it away

I see a lot of content providers that don't do much in the way of graphics.. just trying to give a little something
