CTC PROBLEMS?

theres gotta be a problem with ctc in the past 48 hours.. Ive got zero signups-arent registering the tracks.. Are they fixing the problem or do they even know that it is not registering?

Anyone else showing ANY signups of the click pic program in the past 48 hours?

I was worried that maybe I had a streak of shitty traffic the first day but the next day, and the first few hours of today are on the way to be goose egged again and is just not possible for me.

Ok, there is something wrong.. I just bought a membership and it still doesnt register the track on CTC.. Im feeling a bit better..
Looks to be a minor prob in Click Through Calvins end. Nothing that hasnt happened before and been corrected!

Ive always wanted to see what was inside the members section of AP, and all I can say is wow.. Very nice.. Ive joined some other sites before, and AP out classes the competition.. Im thinking of doing a partnership program now after seeing the inside of the site.. I can see how it would retain the the member for quite a while.

Nice job AP, and not to sell you short or anything, IM IMPRESSED and didnt think you guys would be that good.!

Yeah my ratios are real important to me. Even if Im not payed per signup. I work VERY hard trying not only to get high quanity-s of traffic, but also work VERY hard and equally as hard on getting a high quality type of traffic. So when I see this, it concerns me that maybe my traffic is sucking. But im pretty sure it is not. My usual ratios with them are excellent.. It would be uncharacteristic of me to have zero signups in 3 days with them, especailly if Im getting signups on the other programs I promote that always perform under my AP performance.

So yes, even if im not payed per signup, I still watch and get equally concerned if Im not getting the tracks or good ratios.

Ratios, and volume are an image of what type of webmaster you are to the people who pay you.. I may be the joke of the net when it comes to other webmasters with all my clowning around, but the people that pay me to promote their programs know I am very serious and with them I have a quite different image that I work hard at.

Hey Boneprone, I'm having the same problem, I'm relieved to see that you're having the same problem. There's been a couple of patches in there that I didn't get any signups. May 8-11 and May 15-17 are all no signup streaks for me. Maybe it's just bad luck for me, he he he. I average around 2.5 signups per day. I'd hate to lose that 2 cent bonus because of a CTC error.

I'M WITH YA ON THIS ONE BROTHA !

Boneprone, just curious, why would you work hard at getting quality traffic and then send it to a click-throu? If your traffic signs send it to the AP partner proggy, it knows how to hold on to it's members real well and you get paid every month for doing nothing.

No tracks for me either today or in the last two days...

My only other zero days were May 9th and May 2nd (I didn't send much traffic on the 2nd)

But yeah the concern over the $.02 is a great one. Say you are making $3000 at $.06 -- if your conversions drop you are at $.04 and you just lost $1000 -- 1/3rd of your income! If you're stupid enough like me to not have some money saved in the bank you will be SOL if your conversions drop below 1:800 ;)

Justin you would think so, BUT that doesn't seem to be the case for me and others I have talked to. The click program just makes more money for some of us -- I can't seem to convert the AP partnership cash and make the same amount of money that I do w/ AP click.

The whole recurring income philosophy is partially flawed.

1. Most partnership programs don't pay you for the money that your traffic makes on a) email address collection b) upsells to other pay sites and c) exit traffic. Click programs take all of that income into account (hopefully) -- also you will notice that if there's a click program and partnership program version of the same site -- they will be different sites. Usually the click program site will be more profitable for the owner because they can use any kind of ads they want w/o complaints from the webmasters sending traffic.

2. Most of the partnership programs that I've used seem to make the *same* amount of money every month -- the exponential income is a myth... You may get lucky though and sign up some users that stay members for a year, but those profits will offset your losses of members that only stay for the trial membership.

3. If you are in a recurring program -- you're basically putting a LOT of trust into that company. If they go out of business, delete you account, you are SHIT OUT OF LUCK. It won't matter how many members you have under you -- in this case better to be on a click or per signup program where you get your money up front.

The thing that's best about the "per click" program is that you pretty much KNOW what you'll make every day, it might go up or down a couple of dollars depending on your daily traffic flow, but it's pretty constant.

With "per signup" programs, you can sometimes go days without a signup, then get 4 signups in a day, sure it somewhat still balances out, but I myself like to know what I'm gonna make every day.

I noticed that some of the recurring programs I have been using seemed to hit a wall. So, I joined them. Turns out some of these sites do not get updated on a regular basis ("Coming In January!"), or have very limited content. Another thing I do not like is the way some sponsors would prefer to open more "premium" sites(that only contain several hundred exclusive pix) instead of building up the one I am actually sending the fucking traffic too.

Boneprone , TheFly - WTF? lol

Mee tooo. The 9th & 14th of this month and the past two days!

That's 6000+ clicks with no tracks.

My ratio is going down the tubes.

AhhI just woke up and am feeling good that it isnt just me.. I wouldnt worry about it, CTC has had this problem once before and it is always fixed.. Just wnated to see if anyone else is having the same problem..

And yes, I also have a tad bit more signups on the per click program then when I do on the Partnership program.. If they could somehow make it so we were payed for the exit popup that comes up when you close the AP window, it would be the perfect program.. But right now the click program is the perfect program. Well except for the past 3 days.

Hi everyone. I have also noticed a big drop in the signups the last days. I used to have a 1/600 ratio or better. In the 7 first days of the month I have had 17 signups in 8500 clicks. After that I have had 7 signups in 9000 clicks and the last 3 days my ratio has dropped to 0/4500. I suppose that there´s some kind of problem with ctc because some other webmasters I know have also noticed the same problem. I have also noticed that the ctc stats page takes too much time to load these days (at least here in Spain).
As TheFLY says that extra $.02 is a GREAT one.

Have a nice day and of course make a lot of signups.

Wizzo icq-ed me and told me they are looking into it.. This isnt really anything to be worried about, I was just worried that maybe my traffic was sucking.. We are still getting all the credit for our hits, and that's what matters.

We're already on it. CTC is a not as easy as when we have to maintain our own stuff, since they are an outside company.

We should build an independent "ZERO DAY" chart... figure out some kind of formula to distinguish global moon phase induced horome fluctuations from real CTC errors.

That way I can rest easy and know the days that my sperm count will be the lowest, so I can have unprotected sex w/ my girlfriend -- but I'll be sure to use a condom on real ctc zero days.

but also had no tracks last 4 days.
CTC is not reliable with tracking sign ups.

Yeah 3 signups today !!! It looks like everything is back to normal.

I think that the AP gang better send out some emails to everyone else, that isn't lucky enough to come on here to let them know what's going on.

I actually had a buddy that I referred to AP email me a couple of days ago saying that he dropped outta the 6 cent range because he hasn't gotten any signups. I told him about this thread, so he's relieved.

As you can tell, tracking is fixed. The missed tracks are being added back in today and tomorrow, so your numbers may look a little high those days.
