LinkShare goes down - Chapter 11
This just came in my email:
We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that, based upon information stated on their website, as of May 16, 2001, CyberRebate.com, Inc. ('CyberRebate') has filed a voluntary petition for protection under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York. LinkShare.com I don't remember ever signing up to them. It's CyberRebate.com that is filing for Chapter 11 not LinkShare itself. I used to use NextPlanetOver.com via LinkShare but their damn links don't work anymore so I had to drop them. I need a good comic book store for Shadow Avenger's Realm. Right now I'm using one of cj.com's magazine stores & their comic selections suck (I'm still waiting to hear back from linkshare's magazinecity.com). I had more hits when I was using NPO.

I guess getting people to pay $2500 for $150 MP3 players doesn't pay.
No doubt they lost their merchant account. Just another advertiser in a long list that won't end up paying for their ads on firstname.com |

We use them on mainstream sites. They have been sending alot of chpt 11 mssgs on other sites lately.
 Too much too quick and they die quick |

I never even thought of that Lens. We have been getting notices from Linkshare, about 2 a week. Didn't think about them advertising on your sites!
