    HELP! Westin Diplomat sold out! Where else can we stay? Any Recommendations?

    I heard the Hard Rock Casino and Resort is a few miles away, sounds like a blast anybody got any tips?

      Holliday Inn on Hollywood Beach is about 1 mile away and said they would be running shuttle buses back and forth.

                      I just cancelled two rooms about two hours ago. So they likely have two more openings.

                      Also, you should just try them daily, my experience with Internext is that many people overbook and cancel them or give them away

                                          And I agree with the thumbs down on the HI. I stayed there last year so I could get an ocean front room since the Westin didn't have any. I would rather have a view of a wall in Westin! No mini-bar and no room service

                                                              I paid $159 last year at the HI for an oceanfront room. The room was on the bottom floor so my "view" was of the foliage and since it was on the bottom floor, I couldn't leave the outside door open
