Sorry for the newbie question, but i'm looking for some pointers. What are some of the best ways you've found to generate traffic to a NEW website? I'll be buying traffic from a source or two, but other than that, what works?

Trade traffic, and to jump-start your trades, submit to linkdumps.
Traffic from there is pretty low quality but it's better than buying traffic, and it will fuel your trades for at least a day or two.
Then, if you trade smart and with some creativity, you can get a 2x or 3x return on it, and grow from there.
The problem is micromanaging trades and picking the right ones to start off with.. that's the key if your network is just starting out.
