What Do You Think Of Blind People......

who refuse to wear dark sunglasses and they've got weird looking eyeballs and they're gazing in different directions? it's very creepy. i just don't know why somebody in their family or a friend doesn't sit them down and say 'listen you can't see what you look like but trust me it's pretty bad and you're creeping people out so put the shades on you'll look hot'.

how does encouraging them to wear a cool looking pair of sunglasses make them suffer more? it's no different than telling a fat girl maybe she shouldn't be wearing hip huggers and crop top.

I would say its not as bad as seeing a guy with no eyeball who doesn't wear a patch...

Now seeing inside of someones head literally is creepy

every tiny bit of light they get counts, if you can't see doesn't mean you have to be in a complete darkness, i assume many would not prefer that.
now imagine for a moment yourself being and that possition and have your relatives instead of giving you support telling you that you look like creapy creature and should cover up.
i'm more worried about kids hearing all this beheadings crap
but in the world were all this bad stuff going on you cannot apart yourselv from this creapyness. some things will be exposed whether anyone likes it or not.

somebody with fucked up teeth is more complex, you could be talking numerous surgical procedures and thousands and thousands of dollars for them.

speaking as a blind person who doesn't wear shades to 'cover up' his disability, I'm with spunky1 here, and taking it a step further...fuck you Mutt. You think we should cover up our disabilty because it creeps you out? That's so far
fucking offsides.

It makes me fucking livid as hell that when my kids put on plays, or play soccer, et al, that I can't see what they're doing. It makes me fucking livid that I can't see sunsets, or mountains. And you think we should wear sunglasses because you don't like how it LOOKS! Class act man.

One gimps opinion on the blind. I do not care what they were ect. I just have a big ass problem that they get better dissability bennifits over someone confined to a wheelchair.

Back when I was taking SSI and SSA the blind get more money each month, and can deduct more items and or more value per month before it comes out of your check.

BTW I did not know you get a 1000 deduction, I get jackshit.

Regardless..any disability sucks...just be grateful and thankful you are healthy.I don't know how these people can wake up everyday and live like that..Personally I think I would rather be dead then living life blind or confined to a wheelchair. We all have our problems but when your impaired those problems fail in comparison

at home, a 21" crt running at 800x600 with 'extra large' fonts. mozilla set with cyan text and black bg. at work, 24" sun lcd, same deal on colors.

xterms, etc, cyan text, black bg. That and I sit, oh, maybe 2 inches from the screen. TV is a waste for me.

though not entirely accurate , if perfect vision is '20/20', mine is right around '20/4000'

I have diabetes and on top of that I was hit with Bells Parsy last year which paralyzed me in the right side of my face. I thank you for your lack of respect for any disability whatsoever.

Being blind has to be the worst thing ever. If you are deaf you miss a lot, music...the sound of laughter...childs first words.

If you are mute...it is more difficult to express yourself.

But if you are blind, doing the most simple of things becomes difficult...and then you miss out on everything...sunsets..faces of people, art...the list goes on.

As far as I am concerned they can do whatever the hell they want to...wear glasses...don't wear them..I don't care.

Never had that problem. I think all the blind people I have seen have had dark sunglasses. But like someone said, I think making you uncomfortable is the least of their worries.
