Server side video formating?
Is there such a thing as a perl mod or whatever to reformat video on a server? Like ImageMagik does for images?
I'm looking for something that could take an mpeg file and turn it into windows media or quicktime on demand and then save the new format to the disk. I'm on a linux server.

Look for an app called TransCode. You should be able to use it to convert mpeg to other formats |

There are a lot of video conversion type apps for Linux, if thats what you run as your server. Most are crappy though, and using any of them with a command line can be a challenge.
