What was your fav Saturday morning cartoon?

When you were a kid, which cartoon was your favorite on Saturday morning? I used to wait all week to watch Gummy Bears.

Showing your age? You mention cartoons that first aired when I was already an adult. Shut up

Lets see.. I used to like Kimba (the white lion) early 70's guessing.. Also Marine Boy (lol).. Speed Racer was unique in it's early day too..

Now to go eat my mush and yell at kids on my lawn..

Gi Joe -

He'll fight for freedom where ever there's trouble.
GI Joe is there.

It's GI Joe against Cobra the enemy
Fighting to save the day.
He never gives up.
He's always there,
Fighting for freedom over land and air

and Conan the Cartoon.

And Transformers - I cried in the movie theater when Optimus Prime died

I used to always get up by 7 AM to watch BugsBunny/Road Runner (and the various other versions Bugs/Tweety, etc. never figured out why they kept changing it, it was always the same cartoon clips)

That was always my most favorite, but other favorites included:
Josie and the Pussycats
Casper the Friendly Ghost
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
Shazaam
The Archies
Ritchie Ritch
Star Trek the animated series

And I'm trying to remember the name of the show that had various known cartoon characters (like snagglepuss) in a cross country car race, I can still hear that tune, "Catch that pigeon, catch that pigeon, catch that pigeon now!"

LOL, I don't know how I could have left the original Jonny Quest off my list... OR Gumby and Pokey!

Bullwinkle used to come on Sunday mornings here.

While I was looking up "Wacky Races" I came across 2 excellent toon sites, the first I had never heard before.

Looney Tunes Hidden Gags

It was apparently an obsession of the Looney Tuners to include all sorts of "easter eggs" in their cartoons.

Don Markstein's Toonopedia

A HUGE repository of facts about a LOT of toons

You know... if I hadn't found evidence on the net, I might start to suspect that 'Inhumanoids' was a fantasy of my imagination ... noone ever remembers it, but it was on Sat morning in the 80s with GI Joe and Transformers etc ... IT WAS A KIDS SHOW WITH ZOMBIES! how fucking cool is that? While selling us Lucky charms, there was a cartoon featuring a giant skeletal creature that, if he touched you, would make your flesh rot and deform you into a a slave to serve his army of undead.
