Well after THREE LONG YEARS of court battles and migranes, my divorce is 100% FINAL... FINAL, DONE, FINITO, FINISHED, OVER! I swear this has been the hardest thing I've ever went through in my WHOLE entire life. Those of you who know me well know how grueling this has been.
So thousand of dollars later, I'm still standing and I no longer have to hang low and worry to death about my job in the industry affecting my custody battle. (Can you believe my EX mother in law actually brought pictures from industry parties that are online as well as postings from boards and printed them out for court?)
So here's to all the furniture, cars, and belongings I gave in hopes that this could be civil and painless (other than my clothes)
Here's to the thousands of dollars in lawyer bills I've had to pay
Here's to all the tears my poor girl had to cry listening to him yelling at me
Here's to all the holes punched in the walls of every house we ever lived in
Here's to all the checks he cashed that were in MY name
Here's to saying mean shit about my dead grandparents
And here's to having to take out my own garbage
WHEW! That felt good... It is officially time to move on, get healthy again, and enjoy my kids, my job, and my life. It feels great to be back in the game and back to being happy.
