What do you consider upstate? Everyone's definition varies in this state.

I'm in Western NY now...Rochester. When I was in NYC, we considered Rockland and Orange counties Upstate.

Technically...wouldn't upstate be up and around Lake George and that area?

I used to live in Syracuse for 5 1/2 years. I owned a couple of Dunkin Donuts shops there. Hated the city.

I lived in Watertown, about 75 miles NE of Syracuse. It sucked ass.

Oh btw, from what I've seen of upstate New York, you fuckers have no business talking about inbreeders living in the south.

Yeah I live north of Syracuse. Did you own the dunkin donuts on rt. 57 in Liverpool? I drive by it on my way to the bank sometimes.

Might be heading a bit south soon though, towards Ithaca area.

Yeah Carousel Mall was the largest mall in the country until they built mall of America. They want to expand it to the size of a small city with it's own zipcode and everything.. idiots...

Hey I grew up in Upstate!
Just outside of Albany.
I know a couple of webmasters in that area, but not many. Hit me up on icq and I'll see if I can set you up.

No that one was owned (until recently), by my buddy Lorne. I owned the one in Fairmount/Camillus on W. Genesee St. and the one right downtown on Salina.

I had the same perceptions of the locals. It was culture shock for me coming from a large city. I swear I had to dummy down my vocabulary and I was particularily astonished by the huge amount of single moms who were in their teens. Sad.

Ah, cool. I managed a store in the Camillus mall for a while before it got trashed. I was there when I got into adult webmasterin' actually.

The people vary pretty greatly around here I must say. There're some nicer areas, and plenty of shittier areas, lol.

I helped run a guys store right downtown for a couple of days, and on the first day a ton of bums came in begging, and the second day the cops had a guy face down on the sidewalk at gunpoint. Fun fun.

Like any city though, get far enough to the suburbs and theres some more decent areas. So it seems.

I've been fishing up in Watertown in the Black River. Right on the edges of the military base actually. Nice smallmouth fishing there. Man they were just stuffed with crayfish too, round as footballs!

Sucked when my brothers radiator blew though once. We had to take a taxi from just outside Watertown back to Syracuse, lmao

Graduated Skidmore a few years back in Saratoga. Can't wait to go to the ten-year reunion and tell everyone how I made my fortune in porn. Now I just have to go make a fortune so I can tell them that

Twice guys came into the downtown store and basically ripped the cash register from the counter and ran out the store with it.

Once I got sued as a result of a slip and fall in the store.

Once I got called in front of the EEOC for supposed racial discrimination as a result of a disgruntled employee that was a complete sham and got thrown out.

Everyday there were problems with loitering and fistfights...it was zoo there and we couldn't stay open past 7PM because of the area after dark.
