Well stoney is to send your surfer around in a small circle of sites that you and your fellow webmasters run. After they run around so much they get so fucking tired of being hit with pop up and seeing nothing but banners and shit. That they will either pull out a credit card and join one of your sponsors or leave the net with a very bitter taste for porn.

plus they're a good way of exchanging redundent traffic, if they don't like your banners let them see someone elses and get get some fresh hits back.
