now i have a question myself

does it only apply to movies? I always thought that it even applies when a picture is not loaded completly.....

Apache gives every file that is not completely loaded the HTTP Status code 206. You can see this with a log analyser like AWStats. It's nothing important.

Well I wouldnt say that
Imagine the 1st paysite tour being not fully loaded for example.
I wonder if some sort of image pre-loader will help there which brings me back to my original question....

I'm sorry, I don't get it. You want to make sure every file is completely loaded? Image preloading on a tourpage only consumes time and wil reduce the prod. of the tour, people will leave before all images are (pre)loaded.

206 is not really an error. People will sometimes just close a window if they don't like what they see.
