Hosting blog/guestbook spammers - legitimate practice?

What if you discover that a reputable hosting company, even always present on boards, allows accounts of blog/guestbook spammers (to get higher rankings in Google) although they know what those people do?
Is it a legitimate practice in your opinion?
Would you host with such companies?

No, but guestbook spamming isn't as efficient as it used to be.

It's dead now.

It may not be good in the long run, but for now they have high rankings exclusively to that ...
But it seems everyone here agrees with that kind of "promotion" ....

Why not just use linkdumps instead.

They are there for it and just as effective
