Outlook Express problem
I have this problem:
I didn't check my email for a while, and now I have about 300 emails outlook needs to download. The thing is, it starts to download them from the server, and at some point it stops, and gives this message, something like "no emails received for 60 seconds". press "wait" or "stop". After this message, when I want to download the messages again off the server, it starts all over, downloading the whole 300 messages, and not just the ones left. then the message comes up again and it turns out I cannot download all the messages. Anyone had this happen? I'd appreciate your help. Thanks

you might change the waiting time from I think 60 secs to about 300 seconds...that might help.
you can do that in outlook...and if it still won't work, you should check your mails manually, and select the ones you don't need and delete them. edit: It's called "servertimeout" in outlook... good luck!

btw, does anyone know of a software that only shows the emails on the server without downloading them so you can select the ones you don't need, and delete them?

Make sure the leave copy of your message on the server is unchecked and increase the server timeout as goose suggested.

I've had that happen before but it was a server issue and not a Outlook issue.
