Long flights I always do first class, with shorter flights I dont really care

Only flown twice.. Denver to Louisville pre-911 had the money for first but flew coach (first-timer.. WTF did I know? lol) and last summer Louisville to Amsterdam via Atlanta. Flew coach. NEVER do that shit again if I got the money lol 9 and a half hours in coach sucks ass. Luckily I had the whole back row of seats to my self so I could stretch out my legs and almost lay down :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I never took place on a plane :(

I've flown from Europe to Japan several times a year for the last 8 years and it doesn't matter which airline you take, coach always sucks for a 12-hour flight. It pays off to be a frequent flyer :)

first class is stupid

unless you're going to asia, then i can see it.

I don't mind coach.... I'm tiny so I swim in those sweats anyhow. (The one downfall is being too short to see the movie sometimes depending where the screen is). If I were to fly overseas though, I would consider 1st class if my frequent flyer mile made it a little cheaper. Do I have the money to fly 1st class? Yes. Can I think of better things I would rather do with a few thousand dollars for a 4 hour flight? Yes! :)

I only fly first class.

First class is a fuckin' joke ... At least in my experience.

1.) Found a spider crawling all over my smoked salmon.

2.) The personal LCD systems were not functioning right.

3.) The businessmen three seats behind me were smoking (there were about 10 of them all smoking cigs).

So instead... I now just save my money and opt for Economy class. I take it like a man when I travel 24-hour flights to Asia from the east coast. :winkwink:

You may or may not get a seat. It is possible to get a first class seat if your on standby. If those are the only seats open and you meet the dress code your in.

I usually fly in coach class, I am not too picky and that's completely fine for me, that's not bad at all and not so expensive.
I flew only once in the first class but it was international 10 hours long flight, but I really don't mind coach class as long as I got back alright:thumbsup

United you can buy books of upgrade coupons if you are a corp. It comes to about $500 extra round trip to up to first class when you buy a book. Totally worth it.

First class if I can get it with an upgrade or use FF miles. Not worth the cost to me if I have to buy a ticket.

When I was at Sprint, AMX and Delta had a sweet deal - you got triple miles if you flew 1st class, all our tickets were fully upgradable Y tickets AND they would give you miles even on upgraded flights. This was also when Delta would give you 1000 miles for each leg no matter what. I made a LOT of sweet FF miles and flew a lot of 1st class on that deal :)
