Can highly compressed images lose potential sales
Can you lose sales by compressing your images to save space?
I think if I was a surfer, I would decide if I wanted to join a site by the content and the quality of content. An 200K image looks crisp and clear while an 75K image doesn't. So the question is, is it safe to compress to save bandwidth (im talking about 2-3x) OR leave it the way it is because your losing alot of revenue. |

Lots of successful sites do it, as far as actual results it has on conversions, I have no idea.
