My first sale was from my own paysite in 1997 made entirely of "public domain" images and fed entirely from toplist traffic....

It was for $9.95 through iBill. Don't remember the ratio.

After a few months I decided I'd better focus on my mainstream career and I walked away from several years of insane profit potential.

After that I came back as an affiliate and the first sale was Lightspeed University from a TGP listing on the Hun... about 1:300

I think it was Maxcash for $35. As I recall, I was promoting Karas Adult, but the join was for Teen X off a console..
Traffic was from a link list, Tommy's or Greenguys most likely.
The same week had one or two at ARS, but I think technically the Maxcash one was first.
1999. No idea of ratio.. but those first sites are still live on the same domain and the same host. I dont change my shit once it's done if it's been submitted

I think I made a grand one month with a 20k TGP.

Then their rules got stricter about the text links, and then they were gone. I was so sad.

Sucks about the new 2257 stuff though. I'm seriously considering pulling all my sexually explicit content rather than deal with it frankly. If I need to do that, I have a ton of emails to send out to link lists and tgp's..

Just got my first sale for a Topbucks site. Came from my third AVS site (the first one I used recips and submitted to linklists). I've been doing this maybe a month, but that site just went up on the 19th. My ratio was 1:10 at that time. Beginner's luck, but I'm an equal opportunity affiliate.
