    Are Handjobs considered 'Hardcore'?

    ...yes, yet another 2257 thread posted by an uninformed noob.

    I think it's somewhat relevant, however.

    What defines 'hardcore' - penetration, oral sex, etc.

    Will handjobs(sites) fall under these conditions, or are they considered 'softcore'?

              I've been running softcore free modelling sites for 6 years now. To my way of thinking, the term 'hardcore' implies anything that is explicitly sexual. A lone girl shoving a toy or cucumber up her fun shute is hardcore. A BJ is certainly hardcore, and yes, so is a hand job.

              Sofcore, to my knowledge, includes nude modelling, nude posing, g/g or b/g content that shows nothing explicit... as in, the sex is implied, penetration isn't shown. Lots of late night TV movies contain quite a bit of softcore these days.

                                          Enough for what? To avoid it?

                                          Yes and no.


                                          Yes if you want to put your US customers at risk by not being 2257 compliant. (Assuming you produce and/or sell your own content)

                                          No if you care about your customers and not just yourself.


                                          Many of a content provider's customers have to abide by 2257, thus I would recommend that you adhere to the rules they've laid out, because I suspect that many potential clients will not buy from a site that isn't compliant.
