ICQ works fine for me - you just have to figure out the time zone problems. But that's what the status on ICQ is for.

Yeah, a lot easier to find anything you're looking for on a msg board rather than having to go through ICQ histories.

It might be '' exspensive '' to use the phone but sometimes you really need it.

If you need lots of phone contact you should consider
a VOIP service like Skype.com or Vonage.com.

Besides icq/phone/email, we try to use our own project management system as much as possible (to keep everything in place). Every project has its own board.

it's not that expensive with the right phone company. i pay around 2ct/min. to phone to the US.
And sometimes it's much easier to explain something verbally than on ICQ or email. Plus I like to chat about some non-biz stuff as well sometimes.

I would pay about 70 cents to 1,50 euro per minute to phone the US

With my cell or home phone.

I pay more then 2ct/min to phone my neighbors
