    Announcement: IwantU / Men.com partnership

    IwantU has reached an agreement to power Men.com's Personals & Dating sections.

    In the upcoming weeks, the design will be finished and launched. IwantU Affiliates will also be able to promote the special Men.com version of IwantU through our affiliate program.

    Television and radio campaigns will be starting in the near future as well.

    Look for more news and special promotions coming your way soon (including 100% Revshare / $50 per Signup for the WHOLE month of August!!!).

                                              For sure....IwantU has been around since '96, but partnering with Men.com will give us the mainstream visibility via TV and Radio ads.

                                                                  I only recently took over as Webmaster, so everything you see there is still from the previous management....

                                                                  Once I'm done with redoing our affiliate program (launching Aug 1st), redoing IwantU is my next target

                                                                  The site is still doing decently though even with the current design. Most affiliates average 1:10 free and 1:12 paid. So conversion from visitor to paying member is about 1:120 which isn't that bad.

                                                                      Hey Keith, I've been out all day and just seeing this post.

                                                                      We just hired a former magazine publisher to be our editor, along with several other new key people. It takes a long time to find the right people and we're not in a rush to just grab the first folks that walk in for an interview.

                                                                      They are doing a whole cool magazine style layout right now, setting up writers, etc.

                                                                      Like Keith said we're also going to support the site with television marketing like we did with our 900 numbers for a long time. We always got enormous response over the years for our 900 commercials, sometimes over 30,000 calls per day on a single program, so I'm excited to see this develop into mainstream advertising. I've advertised on broadcast and cable networks and its mind boggling when you see the results.

                                                                      TV is the most powerful advertising medium out there. It gives you instant and immense credibility in the marketplace.

                                                                      We're looking forward to a long and profitable relationship together for our personals program and with all the affiliates who will be our number one priority. The $ Keith has planned for the affiliate program is going to be an eye opener when he annouces it.

                                                                                  We're also going to be building up affiliates from mainstream sites as well. The affiliate reach you can gather is enormous on non-adult sites.

                                                                                  We're going to be deploying commercials too with rich media technologies with several large search engines this coming fall which will mean lots of new traffic for us and the affiliates too.

                                                                                  All in all it will be an exciting 2005. Hard work, but well worth the extra hours involved.

                                                                                                      I may not be your age yet , (I'm still 22 ), but during the week I usually sleep 4 hours a night. The weekends though when I don't have to work I usually sleep until 3-4pm
