search the board
Anyone else having trouble using the search on gfy ?? I can't seem to get any real results out of it. i.e. I tried to search "picture size" to see if there are any posts on what people have found to be the best height and width for pic when submitting to the tgp's, but nothing

I think Wizzo once offered some advice on this subject. I think he said he resizes somewhere near 500. I redid mine to 450, and compressed to about 5 or 6 in PhotoShop6.
I started to just look around today at other sites. Getting an idea of layout, image size on paid hosts, image size on free hosts (doesn't vary much) banner placement... I'm sure you've already done that. ![]() The norm seems to be anywhere from 400 to 600. 600 being big but, a lot of low quality. 400-500 is usually better quality. Hope that helps... ![]() ------------------ [email protected] LeeannOnline.com usexfan.com Oh, I also have been having trouble with the search. I couldn't find some of the things that Boneprone started, about Vegas. [This message has been edited by RedShoe (edited 04-30-2001).] |

I also noticed that the search function is a bit tricky. To bad, since it is really usefull to use. Maybe something for the moderators to do about it?

If you KNOW who wrote the post or in the thread, search them and it comes up every time.

It is bizarre, if you search for a topic some come up, but the user names of who started it are all off. And if you search for a specific person, maybe only a tenth of their posts come up.
