If the lion is a male then the lion if it is a female then my money is on the hyena, they are actually very powerful animals. Jaws have enough pressure to bite through steel. Most kills are made by hyenas and lions actually scavange from them.

only reason the lions got scared away was because they were outnumbered and female.
one male comes and all the hyena's take off, kinda funny. they know they can only take the bitches |
