This time a year... 200+ Phoenix, Arizona... and it's hot as HELL here. Winter months... 80-100. 1500 sq ft single story home... with energy efficiency stuff.. insulation and such. Yeah, right. LOL
Hovers a little under 200. I open the fridge too much, and my wife likes the place chilly. I just added a shitload of insulation to the attic so hopefully next month's bill will be lower.
At my last house it would run about $450-500 during the summer because the house was so poorly insulated.
Now that I'm in a much smaller house, and it's a log house with a billion shade trees around it, it's never higher than $150. AND it's all electric - cooking, hot water, heat, etc. whereas my old house had gas for those things.
I'm on the equal payment plan, so this year it's 113$Cdn a month. No central a/c though, and the hot water heater and furnace run on natural gas, not electricity.
Mine runs about $250 a month... give or take a few bucks. But there are 5 of us here. Along with that comes 5 TVs that are almost always on, a 6th in my bedroom that is on most of the time...... and every damn game deck you can think of, music equipment, 4 computers....... and god knows what else. Kids running in and out from sunup to sundown.... so all in all, I can't complain. Most people where I live have $300+ electric bills on average, unless they live alone.....
I just got in my electric bill today, it is $314. Our house is about 3,200 sq feet, we have central air and a swimming pool.
Gas for last month is $380, which covers the hot water bill and the pool heater set at 85 degrees. When we opened the pool the water was only about 60 degrees so it took a lot to get it warm because it is a large pool. This month it will probably be about $150.
About 250.00 a month. 2700 sq ft home, in Michigan.
Winters its the heat and summer is the air. I keep it at about 75 all the time though.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Just got mine today. 237.00USD in Texas with a 2500sf house. When they built my house this year I had them use blow in insulation shit is worth every penny. It was like 101f yesterday outside but a cool 71f in my house ;-)
about $60.00 in my Baton Rouge apartment
about $70.00 at the house in Mandeville and New Orleans.
Low wattage light bulbs, very seldom watch tv, ac set at 75, ceiling fans on, never leave lights on, EPA setting on motherboard and of course monitors.

3000sq ft house with the a/c set at 72 degrees. Florida - $275 to $300 a month. Everything is electric .. no gas. Well insulated, triple paned windows, etc..
Winter runs about $150 a month
Check this out....my bill was about $400-500/mo. Older house with poor insulation and windows, 3000 sqft. Pool and Spa.
So one day about half of our power is out only, so we call Edison and they find some bolt in our panel and was causing a short so they remove it.
Next month the bill comes and it's $1200!!!!! WTF? So we have them come out to evaluate and of course they say nothing is wrong that is what the bill is. So a few months go by still paying $1200-$1400/mo!!!!
Our spa breaks down and we get a new one and the next month our bill is back down to $400 again! WOW, isn't that crazy how the one older item not engercy efficient by todays standards can rack up a bill like that? Thank god we found the issue, now we can pay for the spa LOL
I live in a shithole apartment right now and my utilites are all paid. Can't wait to fucking move, if I could just find a nice house to buy around here.
