I've learned the most from AaronM, not just about the net, but life in general. he's a smart bastard. and Danny from fucksakes.com helped me out a lot when I was starting.

Sorry to go with the rest ... but KRL is the only one that fits the bill.

So you mean to say if he had spent 50000 on custom Flash games, this would make a btter site? Ppppplease!

With such a generic domain link lists ARE the way to go.

Here's some irony for you, the always brilliant Aaron just called me. So when I asked him to cheer me up, he said he was gonna whip out his cock and hit me upside the head with it. Genius, I tell ya.

because so much of success or failure is based on other factors like starting capital or luck that some of the richest people today wouldn't be smart enough to make it back to the top if they had to start over in an industry choked with Visa regs, anti-spam laws, competition, etc.

Maybe that's a way to ask it...

Of all the success stories, who do you think would be most able to reproduce their success if they were just getting started today with their brain and .... $5K ??

:2 cents:

Good question. The reason I got into this industry 7 years ago was because I was only making $180/mo with my graduate assistantship and they disallowed any grad students from getting outside jobs. Making a real living in the adult industry with zero startup capital would be considerably more difficult today.

I was at a webmaster party and people were talking about this. It was overwhelmigly in favor of KRL.

Sorry, but i am not the only one who mentioned KRL here.
And i truly respect him very much, all his already classic posts about business in general....he's definitely wise and clever and i like his personality very much.

I NEVER kiss the ass of anyone else here, so this proves i really mean what i am saying about KRL :winkwink:

SlickCash Sarah 07-23-2004 01:40 PM

For me personally, its YNOT BOB, LAJ, or the team at Legendary Lars. They all know a ton, and I respect advice from any of them.

I don't think I'll be going to any of them this year unless I'm asked to write an article again. It's like poker, no one wants to show their hand. It's also kind of a downer too, because alot of people that attend and ask questions are really living hand to mouth.

I'm not ripping on the speakers at all, some of these guys just need someone to do it for them, you know? :(

Yep. There is really no point in me even ever going to seminars being that I'm a SEO / Programmer. For me its always been about building retainable traffic and targeting the advertising most effectively.
