anyone have some virus knowledge?
what can i do when i have some kind of startpage virus in my desktop.exe and some other important system file? i obviously cant just delete those files cuz i need them...and my virus program cant heal them. so what do i do about that?

i have ad-aware for my spyware...that couldnt fix it...and i have AVG for my virus stuff and that cant fix it...so now what...

If your version of windows supports it, you can also try reinstalling the O/S in "repair" mode which doesn't uninstall any applications or wipe out any user data, it only refreshes all the core O/S components. Should be good for wiping out any windows primitives that have been infected. Still you should back up your data before messing around with anything like that just to be safe.

Burn your virus program to disk (if you dont have one) insert it and reboot.. most will allow you to run a scan before the OS boots
