Yes but they would have to bring the case before a jury of real people, who wouldn't be able to convict you on it. No one is going to bring that bullshit charge against you on that unless it's packed in with other violations and they are targetting you on purpose.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there'd be a jury in this case? Either I did the paperwork correctly or I didn't. There's no subjectivity involved that would require a jury. I would most likely be able to plead the sentence down to something reasonable, or to appeal of course. That is, if I get extradited. |
