Don't you love sponsors that only stop by to spam?

Did you notice that some guys, like Bode and the PLR Radio gang, only stop by to spam their agenda?

its ok, I like the spam so log as it isnt done too much.. A first time "just to let ya know" spam is ok to me.. Im always looking to hear from people with new stuff..

But it would be nice if they stopped by to just shoot the shit with us and not use it to spam only.

Kinda like getting to know the person before ya sleep with em.. You just trust em more if you know what they are about or if you shoot the shit with em from time to time.

I don't have a problem participating in conversation. I just don't read the board that often.

I tend to only come out of my email and code world to talk about new things we're doing. What would people like to talk about? I've never been much of a board poster. Always used ICQ and email.

Lensman, I couldn't agree with you more.
I would never come here just to say that Lightning Free is the best free host on the net...me ...never..hehehehe
But I would come to say the Amateur Money is by far the best complete sponsor program on the net.....Bar None...

hey guys...

bode posted a message the other day trying to figure out how many minutes webmasters were clockin on their dialers... You can assume that it means they are considering building somethign and so it had alterior motive... regardless though... he was strikin up conversation...

in general a guy that comes to the board that just wants to spam SUCKS... but I think we're all here to advanvance our business.

besides having free reign to say whatever the fuck comes to mind... that's the other reason this board is cool... you get a chance to promote your business to other companies that might be able to hook up with you and make some ca$h monies

the other day, I bought a site off a guy that spammed the board. I don't think he had posted more than 13 messages since the summer...

But that's the only way i found out the site was for sale...

any way... back to finish off the chianti...and wrap up my Op. Mgmt work (forecasting is fun!)

~Brett

Bake, I couldn't agree more. Customer service is paramount in this industry. Over and above this, the math is rather simple; it takes far less energy to correspond with existing partners than it does to recruit New ones. I'd likewise be suspect of those that don't understand these basic rules of engagement. Peace out.

It's amazing how times have changed. There used to be a lot of competition for GFY back then. Not anymore.

Ya, bone you are right... The one shout out about a new program is actually kinda cool. But the constant spam is a waste of time. Also thread hijackers get on my nerves.

I'm right there with ya, coming from the mainstream customer service industry, something I see lacking a lot on this side of the fence is people replying to my email...actually, that's lacking on the other side of the fence too. Just in case there's any TELUS employees here...get your thumbs out of your asses and get back to work damnit, a phone company doesn't run itself ya know - you actually have to pay attention to your customers before you lose them all [/endcomplaint]
