On this issue, I made my post in KRL's thread cursing out the people that did that and made the video. I kind of understand that sometimes when you have employees, you expect them to do their job and most of the time you are not aware of what is up on the site until later on. Knowing this, I did not try to bash Rick about the issue, because i doubted that he knew until later about the video, which is the case. My post was strictly toward the people that made the video.

Well Rick, before people take my stand the wrong way, I will say I have not watched the video simply because I dont want to see it.

I also, honestly dont surf CJ simply becaue I dont need that type of entertainment daily, if ever, some do however.

While I may not agree with the content, I also know some people do not like the content we all put on our sites, porn, in one way or another.

I am not here to tell other what to show on their site, nor do i expect anyone to be in the position to tell me what i can show.

In the end its up to us all to make that choice.

Ok, here is my 2 cents.

The thought of hurting innocent animals disgusts me.
Beheading disgusts me.
This is not the first time something was on CJ that digusted me.

Now comes the tricky part. Although I personally will not go there for the beheading or the cat the fact is, CJ did not hire someone to set a cat on fire. The videos existed prior. If CJ did not put them up, someone else would. Although I do not agree with everything on CJ I applaud the fact that there is a place that is not afraid to put anything up no matter how disgusting it may be.

Hubby visits CJ every day without fail. He sends me to the highlights of the things he knows I will be comfortable with. I am not sure if he watched the cat video, but I know he watched the beheading. His side is the beheading strengthens his resolve to prevent people from doing that in the future. I don't see it because I feel it gives the people who did the beheading what they want. Two different views...but I honestly don't think either one of us is wrong in how we think.

At the very least this video has made people aware of the cruelty of animals. It has also made many people go out and rescue a kitten. Those are good things. Will it make someone else set a cat on fire? I don't think any video can make you do anything. If someone else sets a cat on fire it will not be because of CJ it will be because they are a sick fuck and if not the cat they would have done something just as sick.

CNN makes millions over this type of footage every month. Shall we call for having them shut down? I think the footage of a soldier getting his head blown off, or on a news website last year the pictorial about the girl who was run over and killed by an Isreali bulldozer, or 6 people in a moving vehicle getting incinerated by a rocket launcher in Iraq is just as disturbing as this cat vid. Aren't we being a tad hypocritical here?
