DVD to WMV - who can help ?

i'm looking for the best software(s) to rip DVD's etc. to turn them into wmv+mpegs !

kinda new at this what do i need to get ?

me too if its fast, i'm planning to just play the dvd in a stand alone player and run thru my sony mini dv cam (signal convert function) and capture it to the drive in raw avi and then batch out from there to whatever

i've been told it will be faster than ripping

discuss...

Hmmm - interesting idea. I had found a piece of software that said it could capture a 2 hour dvd in 5 hours and that was supposed to be fast. Sounds like your way is even faster - real time. What Sony camera are you using?
