Numb nuts! (aka Mt. Biking rocks)
It's that time of the year again.
Time to whip out the Mt. bike and let the nuts go numb for hours/days after sitting on a rock hard saddle for 20 miles. My first day out (friday, my b-day, hoorah), it was 12 miles total. 8 miles of flat land/hard pack. 1 mile in 1 to 3 inch deep water bog. 3 miles in sand. (that stuff isn't listed in order nor is it sequentially correct. Suprisingly my body doesn't hurt, just the bottom of my hip bones. I was "cute as a button" afterwards. heh heh. |

As Much Fun As Trial Riding On Mountain Bikes Is, Ride A Trail With A Good Stunt Bike And Jump As Many Hills You Can. I Have A Diamond Back Viper, Which Is For Racing, But Is More Fun On The Trails. You Guys Should Really Try It Out.

for $666 (no bullshit about the price) STX-rc shifters (none of that grip shift nonsense), Deore LX in the rear and STX-rc on the front, 24 speeds, Judy T2 front fork, rollamajig, and richety true grips II (I love these grips). |
