I just recently broke up with my ex (Monday). We both still love each other, and was a very clean break up. We just decided that we fight too much and wanted to stop it and thought breaking up was the only way. The fights were nothing major, but consumed our minds and affected all the other aspects of our lives negatively. I still love her very much, she says she still loves me.

The first couple of days after the break up were really hard. My friends had to literally drag me out of bed, lol. It's only been 3 days and I feel so much better. I am also trying to decide whether or not to get back together. I'm going to give it about a month before I consider getting back together or not.

The hardest part is picturing her with someone else. Someone else's arms around her instead of mine etc. I've already had five girls try to "get with me" since the breakup, but I had to decline because I would still feel like I'm cheating on her.

Anyways enough babble... lol.

why would you wait that long (1 month) if both of you still love each other, i guess a week or 2 is enough to have a rest and unwind then have a serious talk on matters affecting both of you :2 cents:

Joesho 07-15-2004 06:00 PM

You can never go back, young grasshoppa!

FuckFind 07-15-2004 06:04 PM

my immediate X (dated for 2 years, broke up 6 months ago) is currently in my kitchen making me tortolini.

no joke!

My ex just went out to buy us groceries! I love happy endings!

Depends on the ex though, one ex I would kick in the nuts, one I would ask for his number and one I would laugh at. Most of the, i would pretend I didn't recognize them, works like a charm. ;)

You may not be as big of an ass anymore but is she still as much a user as she was. Remember I know the story of this one and talked to you about it daily. Now what did I tell you then because its the same I will tell you now. People break up for a reason, why would you want to put yourself back in a situation that you were not happy with in the first place.

pure energy 07-16-2004 04:29 AM

holy shit...i'll run for my life...and fast!!!

But it was my work life that contributed to everything that made me an asshole. But nothing is going to happen, I was too big of a asshole for her to take me back.

What do you have to loose? You already feel like shit and it will stay like that until you go something about it. Pick up your balls and try a second run at it.

Za Ha 07-19-2004 11:05 AM

Move on. She is happy now... why would she get rid of this guy now if she is happy?

Plus a chick who breaks up with a guy for another guy is likely to do it again...

Plus you will fuck up that guys life....

Plus once that guy is broken up with her he might want to "get back together" like you do now, and the cycle will never ever ever end!

She's not with another guy at the moment, she want's to stay single. The guy after me beat her, which I never did! And she just wants to be friends right now, and see what happens, guys know what it means when they say friends.

I think you should go for it one hundred percent! If you saw her and still have some type of feeling, then she must have made you happy. Follow your heart, but dont act to, to eager to get her back. Just take it slow, and see how she reacts.:hitit

wyldblyss 07-19-2004 03:41 PM

I split up with someone over something stupid. I too overreacted and basically kicked him out...not thinking he would actually go for good....but he left.

I realized I fucked up big time....and he holds a grudge...so I thought it was hopeles. But I kept thinking about all the good times and knew he was the one for me...and I couldn't let go.

I didn't give up and gave it that second shot. End result? We got married 6 years ago....we both couldn't be happier.

So....if you have feelings go for it...there is nothing worse in life than gonig through it thinking "What if". If it is over for good...then find it out for sure...get that closure....you might be surprised though and find out that there is a future for you both...but unless you give it that chance you will never know.

korzon 07-19-2004 03:43 PM

dont be a pathetic bitch! The best thing to do is walk away real far far away, you must have left the bitch for a good reason. Cuz if you tap it and try to be a playa about it most likely she will own you ass all over again but this time you will be her bitch!
Give it some thought.
