Why concern yourself with voting?
A very big idea just struck me, why are so many Americans urged to vote. Isn't it the electoral college that ultimately chooses the president without any regard for the popular vote?
I would say this current election which chose Bush over Gore is a fine example of how our votes dont count. Please correct me if I'm wrong as I was ready to make this my first voting year. Now it seems there is no reason to
