Is it my imagination or.......
Does there seem to be more and more cheaters in this fucking industry? I mean we are talking from the very small scale cheaters to the ones on the very high end of the scale..... I don't mean anything in particular or anyone... but the more I talk to people in private, the more I am seeing that someone is getting cheated, lied to or scammed daily in this industry. Please tell me it hasn't always been like this and that I haven't been under a rock........ is anyone else seeing this shit as well?
I don't know if it is just because I own my own program now and am getitng shit from every direction at all times, or if it has always been like this and I am just now seeing the intensity of it. Yeah I have even WORKED for such people and it makes me sick at my stomach..... YES, I am having a bad day, but this is just getting insane.... and it is pissing me off to no end. And we wonder why people on the outside of our Industry see porn people as such bad people...... good damn thing they don't see what goes on INSIDE and how we lie, steal and cheat EACH OTHER!!!! Sorry, I know I probably should have kept my mouth shut and not opened this can of worms, but I am sick of it and so are so many others that I have talked to just in the last month alone. NO I don't have any NEW names..... or anything, it's just all catching up with me I guess and it makes me want to throw up at the thought of what out Industry has become just over the last year alone!!! Ok, I am done with my rant now...... FOR NOW!!!! LOL |

Theres cheaters everywhere, not just in the adult industry.
Someone I know showed me an ebay auction they have live, for 2.5k and a buy it now for 3k...... Needless to say the advertisement is a little decieving, but he does state in there that it is for information only. He is telling me it's completely legal, because it says it's for information only -- but I know someone who drops 2k-3k (about what the price is of the item the info is for) for an email is going to be pissed. Scamming or not, intentions are wrong

Tons of cheaters in this industry... some of the lowest of the low.
However, there are also some really great people too, people I call friends. I never would have met them if not for this industry. It's a bad conversion ratio of bad to good... but it's worth plugging away for those few good ones. |

Oh I completely agree, MaskedMan..... completely. But over the last little while, there seems to have been more and more..... and I know what you mean as well, I have some awesome friends.
siccmade.... I also know they are all over in ALL Industries, but I am referring more to the one I know and have come to have a love/hate relationship with. Out of 10 people I have talked to in the last week alone, some friends that I have been catching up with, 80% of them have just come out of one scam or another and with people they least expected to ever do such things....... And I know all about the ebay scams too, my husband does a lot of ebaying and he points me to shit almost daily where people are running scams on there.... My main concern though, is the Adult Industry, the one I know and the one I am involved in.... because that's the one I see inside of, I suppose... |

i've run across my share of cheaters but more over I find that I meet really great people in this industry and the good outweighs the bad. Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

If anything, the business is cleaner now than it's ever been. There was a time when half of the sponsors were crooks who would a) never send you a check, or b) send you small checks and conveniently forget to send the bigger checks. Virtually all of the credit card scams are gone (ex: "You will not be billed for this tour, this is only to verify your age").

Thankfully I've never been scammed in this industry (unless you include a webmaster from this board who fucked me out of $1100 for a used laptop).
