I created some text with differnt frames faded in and out on top of each other than I try to animate instances and every time I try to do this it says to instances must be selected ok well how the fuck do I select to or more instances

when you say "to" are you meaning "two" ?

if your talking about selecting more than one at a time, or two at a time, and your using windows, hold down your control key while your clicking on a instance. click one, hold control, click another. this will let you click multiple instances...

if thats not what your talking about, try rewording your question..
