Hello guys. My old AMD k6 450 is getting pretty outdated, and i am going to get a new computer. I want something with a cd burner since i dont have one now, and i also need a better vid card for game playing and more speed for, well, Everything!

Found an ad in the paper for a local computer place, i think it is a good deal, but you guys tell me. Know anywhere i can get this stuff cheaper? Heres the system.

AMD Thunderbird 1.333 ghz chip
ASUS A7A board with DDR
256mb DDR ram
GeForce 2 MX vid card
40 gig 7200 rpm HD
12x10x32 burner
DVD rom drive
Subwoofer with speakers
NO monitor, but i have one already.

Price is $1300 and thats including tax.

I cant keep up with some of the new games i wanna play, like Tribes 2, Black and White, and Unreal 2 when it comes out. Gotta upgrade this shit. Any comments of suggestions?

They always have good deals. Or look up your computer at MySimon.com and see if you are getting a deal.

Mikes real easy to do busy with Goliath. We have dealt with him for years. lol First puter Howie ever had was built by him back in 92. He always checks prices asap and gets best deals in that city.

Howies puter stopped working one time and Mike talked him through fixing it on the phone so he could talk more to me on a BBS. lmbo First time customer and did it at 2am! Ummm don't remind of that. He might decide to get mad finally.

We might never really have dated had that not happened!

I just reread your post. Howie is mine not with Mike

Howie and I have just dealt with him since 92

Oh and it may be listed as International Data Systems. Been so long its just IDS to us!
