Question for the spammers

A friend of mine has a small, non-adult service business. Carpet cleaning to be exact. He wants to purchase a list of email addresses that are from a certain geographical location ( Battimore - Washington area ). Do lists like this exist?

If I was your friend, I'd do a land based mailer....

Slap flyers on car windshields at large office complexes and stuff them into mailboxes

Less spam issues and loosing his hosting.

That takes time, effort and money. Spamming is free. The spam would be for carpet cleaning so it wouldn't draw too much heat, plus there would be a working remove link.

He understands that there are risks and costs involved. My question still remains, do lists exist that are this geographically targeted?

And there books you can buy, ( not that cheap) with name, address, contact ( purchasing dept) number of Emp.'s all kind of good info in them.

After you get the books or books, your friend has 2 set down go thru. it page by page. Mark the companies or people he thinks would use his service.

Has 2 make up some post card type ad's ( you can do them with word landscape ). You make the master 4 to a page, then take' em some place like PIP and have' em printed.

He will need software 2 Mfg. his mailing list. I used Tele magic, not cheap.

once I got it set up I could do 4 or 5 hundred in an hour or 2.

If he not a fast typer, (I'm not) hire someone 2 enter the data. Once it's enter just a matter of, every time you do a mailing.

I did this for years and YOU will get business believe me.

I did it for scale rentals, bought 30 new counting scales, did mailing, didn't get shit. Told the girl working for me, start selling these scale.

Well before she could sell any of them, I had 2 buy more.

Any thing you do, be it flyers or direct mail you have 2 do it over and over and over. I got 2 stick with. And it cost money

Direct mail is the best but cost more than flyers. I had flyers printed up also but never used them.

the lists exist..but between getting lists, getting a server to mail off, getting bp hosting, and proxies (or ip's for direct mailing), it could cost u anywhere from 1-2k.

Regardless of what you spam, your still spamming, and will still piss off a ton of people. Probably not the best way to go about promoting a local carpet bizz.

you will probably find more acurate info with mail addresses, you can send out those in bulk, i've hread some companies sell addresses and some can do mailings as well, prices vary, but not redicilously high.
for his biz this method probably safer than emailing - you can't varify if those email are goe-targeted - more chances in getting ripped off. don't see no problem spam-wise, he's going to have all contact info in email and sent out once, right?

americaint.com=shitty 5 year old "opt-in" lists.

Finding the emails of local people is somewhat hard. Best thing to do is collect thier mailing address.
