F-15C 0.8 : 1
F/A-18 0.4 : 1
F/A-18C 0.3 : 1
F-16C 0.3 : 1

for every su-35 shot down there were 3 f-16s down, 2 F-18..

China buys most of Russias planes and weapons. Russia reinvest most of the money back into R&D of these planes. China spends many billions a year on weapons from Russia.

This assumes that Russia can put it's planes in the sky. If their Air Force is anything like their Navy it's doubtful that they can put their planes up in the air. Their Navy is pretty much sitting in mothballs, isn't it?

Russia is the second biggest military spender in the world after USA. Not to mention that a US dollar goes much further in Russia. These are old stats BTW. Putin has increase military spending much more. I am sure they can put a few planes in the sky if they had to.

China is not ready for Democracy, the population is too great. 4 Billion people with too much freedom will go nuts, crime will skyrocket.

Plus communism is slowly fading away and capitalism is taking over. Allot of state owned companies are competing with private owned companies. There is a new problem now, there is a huge gap between the rich and the poor. With communism, everyone is equal and everything is controlled by government. This is no longer China.

Communism vs Democracy

Communism is an original system of society, quite different from Democracy in many ways. While total democracy is not widely spread, many forms of it are prosperous throughout the world today.

One of the first and major differences between a Communist and Democratic government is their contrary economic systems. In a communist government, the community owns the major resources and means of production. The goal of such a system is to prevent any one person or group of people from becoming radically rich, while others are extremely poor. This results in no incentive on the part of the worker whatsoever. When there is nothing to achieve by working harder, people become slothful, which does little good for a country?s economy. In most attempts, past and present, communism has failed economically, whereas democracies have a commendable success rate.

Communism is most widely taken up by Third World countries striving for national independence and sudden social change (Russia, Cuba, and Northern Korea). Forms of democracy however, are usually exercised by countries, which have a long-range goal to succeed, or improve economically (Britain, U.S.A.).
