    SHAQ to the HEAT!

    Inside sources just told me that Shaq is going to be traded to the Miami heat for: Lamar Odom, Brian Grant and Caron Butler.

    Also, they are in talks to sign Tony Kukoc and Derreck Fisher.

    I see the heat having an interesting season next yr!!

                                                  Good trade for the Lakers, they need to get Shaq out of the West. But I think the lakers should have some how gotten dwayne wade into the mix. Kobe next to Wade would be a nice tandem.

                                                      that is an interesting trade for both teams - i think there's also a first round pick going to LA.

                                                      i think it makes both teams better - or no worse - Lakers were not going to win again with the Shaq/Kobe tandem. Lakers now will have Kobe Bryant, Brian Grant, Caron Butler(stud to be) and Lamar Odom - lots of youth and talent - i just don't know where a player like Odom fits in with Kobe - both are ball hogs.

                                                      Heat have a chance with Shaq, Wade and whatever the can pull out of the free agent pool to compete for the Eastern conference championship, with Shaq u have a chance of winning if the team around him comes to play.

                                                          you're crazy and the heat aren't fucking retarded they wouldn't trade dwayne wade, no way. and dwayne wade with kobe would suck, basically i guess it's because kobe sucks. he's going to be the leader of his team and not win, then we'll see how happy he is when he grows up.

                                                              most of you guys fail to realize that there are tons of scoring guards in the league but very very few dominant centers. shaq could be a dominant center in this league for another 6 years if he wanted just because there aren't many at that position. any team that gets him is lucky and instantly contending for the title. you can't say the same of any team that gets a scoring guard and a selfish one at that.

                                                              lakers fans should be real pissed to see this team lose phil jackson and shaq, your team is going to be shit next year, you might make the playoffs but you'll never win. heard of sacramento, now you're just like them.
