I love how Chicago brags about pizzas.
I mean, how hard is it to make a damn pizza?
Obviously pretty hard because I really miss a good Chicago pizza. It's all about what you grew up with. I wouldn't like Louisiana type food, I didn't grow up there. I LOVE Chicago style pizza and really miss it, of course, I grew up in the mid-west. Now a friend of mine swears by New York style pizza, which I don't care for at all. He grew up in Brooklyn.

I have yet to meet someone who isnt a chef that can cook as well as myself. I guess being an ex asst. chef kinda helps a bit... but moreso that i have a gourmet grocery store and a wholesale meat company so i have access to everything.
I think I will make me some tortellini with a cream, shallot, white wine sauce with shitake mushrooms, onions, garlic, fresh basil, shredded alaskan king crab, fresh bay shrimp, etc....
one of my favorite personal recipes.
and some garlic bread... and a light caesar salad.
and a couple of amstels.
that and this fresh 1/2 oz. of herb I got in front of me!!
