Welcome to "anythingformoney.com" oooops ...
I meant GoFuckYourSelf.com.

Do your morals change based upon your cheque book?
Who do you think is funding them?

there are bloodsuckers in every group...this one is no different

did you also settle with ACACIA? Are you Rob Berman's love child? Are you even IN this industry?

jollyperv 07-09-2004 09:22 PM

I love reading their forums, all these fucking weasel shareholders think acacia's got it in the bag...Oh, disney signed, it must be valid. Acacia is simply a fruit fly to disney...they settled to simply swat the fly away. Fightthispatent (Brandon I think?) really puts people in their place on that board.

I spent a lot of time trying to get people aware and motivated to help the fight, so did Brandon at Fight The Patent.

We got a lot of vocal support and little else. Some people, like 12clicks who runs Tuna Fish board was even detrimental to us bringing into question our motives.

The choice is simple, either we unite and get behind the Acacia Joint Defense Group or we let Acacia have an easy ride and show the other patent firms that we are easy pickings.

I say we when I really mean those in the US, because I strongly doubt if Acacia will come off shore with this BS. They chose to target other industries within the the US against staying in porn and going abroad. So if you in the US will not stand up and fight then expect to lose it.

Simple as that.

I will be giving Spike a check when I see him in Miami.

Paul Markham 07-09-2004 10:35 PM

The sad thing about this is it's not stuck at the top of the board.

:( :( :(

It's people like this that make this industry look like "Low Hanging Fruit" Ryan and Berman have made a fortune off their own shares in Acacia, win or lose these guys will come out on top.

And this will teach the next firms of lawyers with a broad patent a very valuable lesson. We are here for them to make money out of.

Fighting Acacia is posible, even if you have no money. Look at who you partner with, who you send traffic to and who you do business with. If one of them is a Licensee change them for a defendent. I give free content to some of the Defense Group. What can you do?

Doctor Dre 07-09-2004 10:47 PM

Almost done with it. If Acacia gets the right to sue the industry as a class action, it will affect everyone in this business. Nobody will be unaffected. That goes for designers, everyone who does work that in any way supports paysites. If paysites are having to cut back on expenses this will affect everyone in the end.

BTW

fms100 7.50
thinkorsink 5.00
babehunter 9.52
Dimamaart 7.00
Austinrob 10.00

You can't teach an old whore, I have no problem with what I have done, au contraire, I should have invested a lot more than what I did in the first place.

Burnie 07-10-2004 05:19 PM

Times are hard right now but here's what I'll do...
I am not even listing my affilate program on my paysite, but anyone who wants to promote it here is the link:
http://www.jennyandfriends.net/webmasters.html

Now what I'll do, From NOW until September 30th, I will donate my 1/2 of the signup (that's over 2 1/2 months of my part). It's a 50/50 split and I'll paypal my half as the checks come in (about 2 weeks with CCBill). Wish I could do better but as I said times are hard right now. And to Acacia :321GFY

Pete 07-10-2004 06:14 PM

I'll donate

grumpy 07-10-2004 06:15 PM

Their paypal address: [email protected]

homegrownSpike 07-10-2004 09:43 PM

Hi All,

Thanks for coming out and posting for the cause. I have signed up with https://paydirect.yahoo.com and http://www.moneybookers.com/app/ use my [email protected] e-mail to make a donation. As for sending a check contact me directly and Ill send you the information.

I am checking into writing off the money. And whether it?s a business expense.

Also on another note the IMPA can?t send money to the legal fight because Acacia has accused it of being an organization that is trying to stop Acacia from suing everyone?.

CDSmith 07-10-2004 09:47 PM

Spike, can you set up a paypal account to take donations too?

I donated before, I'd like to again and I have some cash in my paypal account I'd like to send you. I'm sure others here have paypal accounts they'd like to send you money from too.

Fuck it, I'm jsut going to send $500 now to spikes epassporte. Since I announced this in ctts guys stopped buying traffic. Nobody seems to care about this. I worded it so guys would know that I am putting up the 5% not them, they still must think it is deducted from their order or something.

BluMedia 07-11-2004 01:25 PM

bump for this thread that should be the top thread.
