Actually not under, but Chapter 11 reorganization which can make the stock worthless in theory and the company taken over by creditors, in theory.
The good news is that post-bankruptcy suppliers get the highest priority for payment which means maybe fewer blackouts. I'm glad we've got a couple of generators. |

Last night on the news they said just before they filed chapter 11 they paid a ton of money in bonuses to middle management.
I think the number was something like 15 million. They just gave away 15 million, and then filed. "Hey, Herman. Congratulations on the biggest fuck up in California's history, here's your bonus check. Take the rest of the week off, you deserve it. See you next week, when will be called 'West Coast Gas and Electric'" Actually, my first movie job was for a guy who used to get money from Paramount to shoot a new movie, but instead he would just edit two existing films together and pocket the money. His name is Charlie Band. He was president of Full Moon Productions. He edited "Demonic Toys" and "Dollman" together and came up with, "Dollman vs. Demonic Toys". Pathetic isn't it. He would shoot about 15 minutes of new footage and that was it. When Paramount moved in, he filed chapter 11, and reopend the next week as a new production company. I forget the name of his new company. ------------------ [email protected] LeeannOnline.com |
