so banners are now off for most people..
What is the next logical step to get webmaster attention? Sigs. How long until sigs have animated flash with sound in them? After we all disable that.. what's next? This is a downward spiral. Advertising is a NECESARY evil for any site but excessive and disruptive advertising kills every good thing. I hardly blame lens at all. He's in this to make money. I think that advertisers need to get back to what actualy matters, having a good product and great product support. Banners mean shit comapred to that.
The product sells... not the banner. Seems like sponsors forgot how to fucking advertise. |

guys, when you disable sound in IE, you know like
Tools / Internet options / Advanced - uncheck play sounds in the web pages, does the flash still plays sound? i can't check, no speakers here. |

i think it is funny that no one has flash playing in their browsers because of one flash banner that annoyed the fuck out of all of us
the value of a gfy banner ad just went way down i would be PISSED off if I was an advertiser |
