I have seen several posts in the Allie threads by webmasters who have turned off flash thanks to the ad.

How can future advertisers take the chance at designing a flash ad now when who knows how many of the serious webmasters here they are trying to attract won't see their ads now. Also, how many webmasters won't go anywhere near a mouseover/click on any more ads now too. What a clusterfuck for advertisers.

i turned off flashfor more than just that banner.

flash is annoying and I have been meaning to do it, all the talk of talking banners made me finally do it though.

no more flash on GFY for me.

board loads MUCH faster now too!

Exactly. It's become such a task to avoid the banners that we hardly see them at all anymore..

The longer Adult.com ignores this issue, the more people will simply
block ALL flash advertising. I have installed FlashBlock:

How many advertisers will read this post and get heartburn. You and how many more webmasters have recently turned off flash thanks to the Allie ad. Future advertisers will only reach horny surfers here soon.

Not necessarily. I've noticed the gif banners now.

when there's nothing up there for the most of the time.. the rare time a gif banner is there, it draws my attention
